Welcome to the first Bionic Beats – Event in 2016 – a night full of deep and groovy Techhouse.

We want to introduce you to RHADOW:

Being one of the most charted Dj‘s in 2012 RHADOW is a class of it‘s own; but also an incentive for even more success. His way of mixing sounds is worshiped by club-goers everywhere. Rhadow‘s sound is a mix of house, tech house and deep sound, influenced by old school and funky stuff. In 2007 he started DJ-ing at clubs and at parties in his hometown Brasov. Only DJing however didn‘t satisfy him. Inspired by Brasov‘s night-spirit he started producing and in summer 2009 his first release on GREELPOUND followed. Tracks on the album attracted a lot of attention and consequently new connections were made. He met the guys from NTFO and the three guys put together their deep house combo „Rhadow meets NTFO“. Several releases and remixes on SINTOPE, DIGITAL, GET PHISYCAL and KIARA are the successful result.

As a solo artist he had over 50 releases and numerous remixes on BLA BLA, DEEP BEEP, KINA MUSIC, RESTORE MUSIC, DORCAS, THE SOUND, DELICIOUS REC., METROPOLITAN and DEFINITION MUSIC. The cooperation between NTFO and Rhadow continues until today. The Rhadow Remix regarding the NTFO track „Unudoitrei“ was released on Kiara Records in February 2014.

The next artist we want to introduce you to is RAPHAEL HOFMAN:

Raphael Hofman is a Dutch-German, 21 year old, DeepHouse/Techhouse producer & DJ based in Berlin. Born in Aachen he began DJing and organizing events at local Clubs at the age of 16.
As part of a wide range of music-projects like Film- & documentary music (Theater Aachen, Zinnober Film), different bands (from alternative, as guitarist & singer, to electronica) & theatre productions his technical skills & music interest were intensified.

In spring 2014, Raphael moved to Berlin to work for De:Bug Magazine Berlin and to focus on further work with music. Since september 2014 he is part of Grise Agency Labelmanagement as social-media expert & nightmanager (OFF Recordings).
The sound: set’s & tracks of Raphael Hofman are known for their special deep & dark sound, surrounded by different rhythmic structures & soundspaces, that could be classified into a mix of Techno, Tech House & elements of Detroit House. As he writes, plays, produces, sings & records everything himself on every single track, the productions contain a certain handmade roughness.
Raphael Hofman’s first Release “No Word No Sound/Silhouettes“ was published on Save Room Recordings (Label by Kruse & Nuernberg) and went up Top100 & Releasecharts. Currently he is working on new Remixes & several new EP’s.

In the early 90s Bjoern got interested in electronic dance music while visiting psychedelic trance parties in Germany. He bought himself a pair of turntables and began spinning records. He and his friends then began hosting dance parties anywhere they could, and he played his first sets as „DJ Bjoern“. He also began traveling throughout Asia at that time – in particular, he spent some time in India and Thailand, where he experienced the psychedelic trance beach parties. From then on he played at psy-trance parties all over the world.

In 2001 he moved to Hamburg, where he has visited some electro-house-parties and decided to play some sets in that sort of genre. From then on he played as „Phobos“ at several parties all over Germany. After all these years of DJing and traveling he moved back to Muenster in 2004. He always switched between the genres as „DJ Bjoern“ or „Phobos“, playing psy-trance, electro-house, techno or minimal tunes for years. After he got married in 2008 he decided to calm down a bit and to concentrate on the electronic dance music that really was in his mind. He started producing his own sounds and finally comes up with his new project – „Bionic B“, which will be presented at Bionic Beats for the first time.
